Antico
Feudo San Giorgio is a farm holiday centre in Sicily, designed for
lovers of nature and art. The farmhouse is situated in the heart of
the Madonie Natural Park, in the province of Palermo, not far from
Polizzi Generosa and Castellana Sicula.
For
art enthusiasts, we are just few kilometres away from the unspoilt
centres of several historic towns in the Madonie Park: the old state
town of Polizzi Generosa; Petralia Sottana and Soprana, with their
distinctive architecture, monuments and noble mansions; Gangi;
Geraci, and Collesano, former county of Ventimiglia. From here, you
can easily reach Piano Battaglia and the famous town of Cefalù, and
visit the Targa Florio Museum and the Ceramics Museum. On the other
hand, nature lovers can explore the paths and unspoilt setting of the
Madonie Park.
All
our rooms are furnished in the 19th-century Sicilian country style,
and equipped with fan, mosquito screens and private bathroom with
toiletries. Some have views of the Madonie mountains. Our facilities
include: a scenic pool (16 x 8m) with large solarium (open from
mid-May to October*), a bowling green shaded by trees, a games room
with table tennis and table football, and an outdoor playground for
younger children. We also offer various extra activities, payable and
bookable in advance: cooking lessons, bread baking in traditional
ovens, and rides on our donkey, Martina.
We
are 46 km from main road no. 120, easily accessible from all parts of
Sicily, and 4 km (in the Castellana Sicula and Polizzi Generosa
direction) from the Tremonzelli junction with the A19 Palermo-Catania
motorway.
Antico
Feudo San Giorgio is
located halfway between the two cities.
